With their velvety flowers in many colours and face-like markings, Viola wittrockianas are an old fashioned favourite. Foliage is heart shaped with gently serrated edges.

Planting & Cultivation Tips
Plant 20 to 30cm apart in full sun, with compost rich soil.
Keep well watered and mulch to control weeds.
Feed with soluble plant food every two weeks once buds form.
Remove old flowerheads and protect from aphids under the leaves.
