Ageratum houstonianum or ‘Floss Flowers’ produce fuzzy heads of bloom of soft blue-mauve with attractive dark-green, heart-shaped foliage.

Planting & Cultivation Tips
Plant 15 to 20 cm apart in filtered shade to full sun for best results.
Adapts well to many soil types but responds well to the addition of compost.
Is fairly drought-resistant but needs regular watering in hot, dry weather.
Feed with soluble plant food regularly to promote flowering. Remove spent flowers and protect from snails and caterpillars.

Uses
Make splendid border plants and excellent garden displays. Have a very long flowering season of about three months so is a useful addition to the flower garden, providing long lasting colour.
